Windows 10 version 22H2 is finally here
I like Windows 10 so much, but version 22H2 of Windows 10 is finally here, and it's an exciting new version of the operating system that has some of the same features. With this new version of Windows 10, there can be various improvements, but on my HP PC, there may be the same apps that come with this new Windows 10 version. I just had the Windows Update Assistant download and install the new version of Windows 10 just after it was released.

How people like me survived Hurricane Ian
As Hurricane Ian loomed over the Tampa Bay area, fear and uncertainty gripped the residents of southwest Florida. The anticipation of the first major hurricane to directly hit the region in over a century was palpable, but amidst the chaos and destruction, stories of survival and resilience emerged.
One such story is that of my mother, who weathered the storm alongside her friend Jim Figler in our apartment in Hudson. As the winds howled outside and the rain poured down relentlessly, they found solace in each other's company, braving the storm together. Despite the close call with a small tornado that swept through their living room, they emerged unscathed, a testament to their strength and courage in the face of adversity.
The impact of Hurricane Ian was felt most acutely in southwest Florida, where its wrath was unleashed with devastating force. The eye of the hurricane made landfall near Fort Myers, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. However, here in Tampa Bay, we were fortunate to escape the worst of Ian's fury, thanks to a stroke of luck that spared us from direct hits.
Throughout the ordeal, local and national news anchors and reporters provided invaluable coverage of the storm, keeping residents informed and safe. From Jeff Berardelli to Norah O'Donnell to Savannah Guthrie, these dedicated journalists braved the elements to bring us up-to-the-minute updates on Ian's path of destruction.
Even amidst the chaos, there were moments of lightness and hope. HSN hosts and models found themselves scattered across different locations as their St. Pete headquarters closed temporarily due to the hurricane. Despite the challenges posed by Ian's wrath, they remained resilient and united as a team.
And as for my family members who weathered the storm alongside me – my sister Lacey, Fred Reed, my niece Mackenzie, my nephews Keith Jr and Kayden, and Rocky the dog – their courage and fortitude were unwavering. Having survived Hurricane Irma in 2017 as well, they knew what it took to endure nature's fury with grace and strength.
In times of crisis, it is our resilience and sense of community that shine brightest. As we reflect on our experiences during Hurricane Ian, let us remember not only the challenges we faced but also the bonds we forged in adversity. Together, we can weather any storm that comes our way – stronger and more united than ever before.

Woman who has portable DVD player in hospital due to broken arm and COVID-19
Unfortunately, I may have had some bad news to share. The woman who had the portable DVD player was hurting her arm, and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment and was tested for COVID-19. Her test result came back positive, unfortunately. Because of this, I still won't have a new DVD player. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
